I installed the RPM package for otrs. Otrs installed the database for me. I use apache 2, latest mysql 4? and have perl installed. Otrs recives mail and works like it should except for the mail-back button. I think.. Btw. I also had to change the parameter CHECK_DB or what it was in the /etc/sysconfig/otrs for "service otrs start" to work, because otrs could not manage to find out if mysql was running. Don't know it this has something to do with it?

Am I missing something here? How have you installed OTRS? Normaly you should have some templates for responses that are already stored in the database. What version of mysql, apache and perl are you using? Are you using mod_perl2?
