Thanks for the feedback Volker. That's my point, surely through the browswer 
interface I should be able initiate tasks and the "back-end" bit is 
automatically done. Just like if I add new groups or users, they are 
automatically created and rights etc. are set. Surely, if I then decide to 
rename them, everything should also be automatically done?

... if this is not possible, which files do I need to change (with regard to 
Group name change)?

i dont think that this is a bug. 
if you want to rename any "system groups" feel free to do so. 
but dont forget to rename it everywhere. in the db. in the sources......
