I am running Fedora 5 , so i would assume the nogroup would refer to the
"nobody" group user?
Will run a repair on the DB and let you know

Depends on your OS. What OS are you running?
I get a few of these errors when running the DBupdate script... can
this maybe have an effect
ERROR 1194 (HY000) at line 27: Table 'ticket' is marked as crashed
and should be repaired
ERROR 1194 (HY000) at line 28: Table 'ticket' is marked as crashed
and should be repaired
ERROR 1194 (HY000) at line 29: Table 'ticket' is marked as crashed
and should be repaired
ERROR 1194 (HY000) at line 30: Table 'ticket' is marked as crashed
and should be repaired
ERROR 1194 (HY000) at line 31: Table 'ticket' is marked as crashed
and should be repaired
Have you tried repairing the ticket table?
