If your on a linux system you can modify the cronjob for the user otrs. crontab -u otrs -e
In this file you have the lines: # fetch emails every 10 minutes */10 * * * * $HOME/bin/PostMasterPOP3.pl >> /dev/null change the /10 to /n where n is the number of minutes you want the system to check the mail. All this assumes that you are using a POP3 mail account.
