so, i did the comparison. everything excepting sending an email is pretty fast (about 2-5s für 10MB). sending an email with 10MB as an attachment takes about 3 minutes. at this point you will say, that there is a problem with the mailserver... but i am not sure. if i really had a problem with the mail server, then i would experiencing exactly the same behaviour with unsing an email client... but the email client sends also pretty fast and so i would say that this is not the bottleneck. what about perl? if i understand otrs code well, there is a transformation into base64 and during the 3 minutes trying to send the email, i recognize a very high load of the server cpu (100% on one core). don't you think that there is another problem that is maybe placed into the transformation into base64 or maybe something directly with perl... thanks again for your help. regards, patrick. -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Im Auftrag von Michiel Beijen Gesendet: Mittwoch, 7.
