Hi Ravi, In order to create a template you have to use as follows:
· Add a class : Admin tab --> General Catalog --> ITSM::ConfigItem::Class<http://localhost/otrs/index.pl?Action=AdminGeneralCatalog&Subaction=ItemList&Class=ITSM%3A%3AConfigItem%3A%3AClass> · Copy definition : Admin tab --> Config Item Management--> Select an existing template--> Click on change class definition · Select and edit existing definition template to suit your needs i.e. Sno,servername,Ip,etc · In order to make a value mandaton add CountDefault => 1 else CountDefault => 0 for optional paramets of CI’s Sample CSV: (which may be obsolete requirement considering the above) · Create an initial config item using CMDB feature · Use import / Export feature to export a sample CSV format Best regards, Ajmal From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of ravi shanker Sent: Tuesday, May 10, 2011 11:28 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [otrs] Reg: sample CSV for import/export feature in OTRS ITSM 3.0.2 Hi, I have OTRS ITSM 3.0.2 configured,i'm looking for import/export feature and would need sample CSV template for this feature to work. i have create a template like: Sno,servername,Ip,etc however when i run import ,i'm getting an error saying 1 failed;0 succesful message in log.
