My old C650 can only use a localtalk cd, I'm yet to take my own advice and try once again to get one of the cd-roms going, none are apple branded. Mainly interested in what you did use with the built-in one.


I had a little wierdness with the powermac and its built-in one which was corrected with the Joliet extension (very handy) and a updated apple extension which cured the problem.

Some of the biege G3's appear to have trouble after a OS upgrade when you have a cd burner and the stock built-in one which again is extension problems.

I think "what software where you using" is a fair question but if isn't really an issue we'll just forget it. :)
