Whats a 'localtalk' CD? If a CD-ROM drive isn't Apple-branded, or even if it is, then FWB's CD-ROM Toolkit, or CD SpeedTools by IntechUSA, are both good. Toast's CD Reader can make some of them work, and there was one version of Apple's CDROM Driver that did actually work with 3rd party drives, but I dont remember which version it was. They promptly removed this 'feature' on the next release.
