Put this down to it almost being Xmas ... but I swear it is true - only the
facts have been changed to fit in with the season!

Here beginneth... I have a cube with LCD screen and extended Apple keyboard.
This is my 'best' machine ... on whose screen I watch the best of the '3
Tenors in Paris', etc. It also has a linux installed ... and it spends much
time lording-it over the lesser computers in the room. To tell the truth it
is a retirement present ... the best and most expensive computer I have ever
owned.

Recently ... there was a break-out at the keyboard site ... and I suddenly
noticed that two (2) keys had left the 'board! I have instituted a search
and one of them (an 'X') was rescued from behind a folder almost 2 metres
from the keyboard. The other key (a 'D' if that is of any help) is still
hiding! More searching ... I will take my room apart piece by piece to
recover my property! If you know where it is it will be better if you tell
me...! Before I find it. I believe that the keys belong to a terrorist
cell! Watch out or they will be deported. (at least detained for 7 days
while I question them in detail about their activities).

Seriously but ... do other users of the Apple USB extended keyboard notice
this behaviour? I have pressed the 'found' key back ... but will it try
another breakout?? What would happen if there was a mass-breakout? Maybe
(shock, horror!) I should buy a non-Apple USB keyboard? What do others
think??
