AFAIK, Macs are just as connectable as any other computer, perhaps moreso.
There isn't any reason that *I* can think of, though obviously iPrimus have some reason or other. You're quite right in saying the Macs are just as connectable as anything else, and I would have thought support costs would be lower as well (since they 'just work' most of the time - saving support calls...)
