Hi pat,

Yes he can attach a USB modem, best to buy one that states that its Mac
compatible.  Finding a driver might get a little hairy otherwise.  Can't
recall what the right brands would be, but a brief search on the internet
should yield results.

As an alternative, is the person in question contemplating ADSL at all?
