Just a mild correction on the '8 gig partition' gotcha, this is a 400MHz
iMac with built in USB (and maybe even Firewire), that gotcha does not
exist with this model. Have a few iMacs (nonDV as well as DV) all
400MHZ models which happily have OSX (Jaguar and Panther) installed on
unpartitioned hard drives.
That gotcha only existed with non-native USB G3 and PowerMacs (and maybe
the Rev1 iMacs - unsure).

Make sure that the user has no plans to install Panther, as it
