Senior SW QA Engineer Requirements As part of the QA team, work with the Engineering team to schedule, define and agree product testing schedule. * Analyze requirements and other engineering documents to revise and/or define new test packs and specifications. * Write, document and maintain JavaScript, HTML, Java and other web technology test packs and tools. * Write, document and maintain C, C++, Perl, PHP test packs and tools. * Execute and document results of the defined test cycles and packs. * Set up, configure and test against new network designs. * Install products as required for controlled QA test runs and as necessary to support engineering testing. * Manage, monitor and maintain systems used by the QA team to ensure that they are operational and to specification. * Work with Technical publications group to ensure that the TV Navigator product is accurately presented in all external publications. * Work with Technical publications to ensure accuracy of Release Notes. * Contribute to the advancement of QA processes and practices. * 4+ years experience in White/Black box QA. * BS in CS or EE * Experience in testing consumer electronics, web technologies and UIs essential. * Must have client, Server and UI testing experience. * Test automation design and implementation experience preferred. (QA test automation set up and programming experience is a MUST). * Test management software usage such as testquest preferred. * Excellent written and verbal (English) communication skills. * Software development experience: Java, XML/HTML, JavaScript, CS/DOM (strong skills) C, C++ (an advantage) * Ability to write code, write test scripts, build tools and work to make QA team self supporting.
