Sr. Software Engineer Responsibilities This position is exposed to all parts of the Java Security Server. This position works closely with the development manager to evaluate new feature requests, prototype, design and implementation of new software components. The right candidate will develop and execute tests to ensure quality work and a proper hand-off to QA. Candidate must have the ability to analyze performance of components and the overall system, identify bottlenecks, and suggest detailed improvements in the code/architecture. The position requires excellent communication skills to knowledge to explain the high-level architecture and design of components. The right engineer will be expected to continually stay up-to-date with technical developments in the field of server development and security. Requirements • Experience with object oriented design methodology and design patterns • Hands on experience and clear understanding of J2EE platform • Experience with object – relational persistence paradigms (i.e. Hibernate) • Prior experience in performance turning, scalability issues, clustering, and reliability concerns • Experience with JCE, JSSE, OpenSSL, PKI, PKCS standards, Encryption Algorithms a plus. • Recent experience with C/C++ would be a plus • BS in Computer Science or equivalent (MS a plus) • 10 years+ software development experience; 5 years Java • Solid Java Skills (Knowledge of advanced Java topics such as multithreading, garbage collection, etc.) • Proficient at problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and problem solving • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Self driven, quick learner with attention to details Thank you, Team DEVFYI - Developer Resource FYI http://dev.fyicenter.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Introduce business in 3800 cities.
