Sr. Software Engineer Description Job Duties: Responsible for developing software for company environmental domain and lead software projects through the development life cycle. Specifically, create business logic components and transactional data access components, create Windows NT services for asynchronous processing of long running tasks, and implement multi-lingual UI. Responsible for creating complex SQL and PL/SQL stored procedures to implement efficient data access performance. Implement Core APIs in C# and Enterprise Library, implement web service interface for the Core API using Windows Communication Foundation, write functional design documents, and create unit test and sample programs. May be assigned to various projects using skills. Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, followed by 8 years of progressive experience in the job offered or related software development and database design experience. Education/ Experience must include the following: 1) Experience in environmental domain software development specializing in Environmental Compliance, Air, Water Reporting, and Waste Management; 2) Programming in C#, C++/ MFC, ATL COM, STL, DCOM; 3) ASP, XSLT, SML, DHTML, and Java Script; 4) Application development in Visual Studio; 5) ASP.NET, AJAX, InfoPath, WSS/SharePoint and its programming environment; 6) SQL Server and Oracle Databases; and 7) Project management experience including budgeting and managing timelines. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
