What we need are seasoned Java Developers with 7 to 9 years of experience and *Web Objects experience is a must. If you have anyone with recent WebObjects, this position will move.* * * *Responsibilities:* Elaborated on the *Use Cases* based on business requirements and was responsible for creation of *Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams. *Worked closely with the *Requirements team* and analyzed the Use Cases*. *Developed application using *Struts* and *Tiles framework. *Developed *Struts Action*and *ActionForm* classes. Created the *Tile* definitions as required. User Input Validation is done using the *JavaScript* and ActionForm. Developed a *Custom Tag* that generates a form needed for submitting the Http Request to the *WebObjects* version. Developed code to interact with *DSV, TURF* that are inbuilt TIAA-CREF web service based frameworks. Parsed *XML* documents and displayed data using *XSL, XSLT*. Created JSPs using *JSTL *and *Struts tag libraries. *Used J2EE patterns like *View Helper, Business Delegate *and * Transfer Object. *Created the *SQL queries* required to retrieve data from Oracle database. Tested JSPs in *FireFox* and *Internet Explorer*browsers. Identified and fixed issues found. Used *ANT *script to compile and build the *WAR*. Configured the *WebLogic handler* for the *Apache Web Server* to serve static files (js, html, images, css). Performed *Code Labeling* and *Branch Creation* in StarTeam. Developed *Exception handling* mechanism for the project. Performed *Code Migrations *to Test environments. Performed Unit testing using *JUnit. *Created *Technical Design Document *for the project and actively participated in *Functional Design Document. *Participated in *Code reviews* and *Test Plan reviews*. *Environment: *WebLogic Server 8.1, Apache Web Server, Struts 1.1/1.2, Tiles, JSTL*,* CSS, JDK 1.4,Oracle 8.1/10g, JSP, XML, XMLBeans, Ant, Windows, JDBC, JNDI, Taglibs, Eclipse 3.x, J2EE, Java, UML, HTML, DHTML, XSL, XSLT, JUnit, Log4j, JavaScript, Core J2EE Patterns, SQL, PL/SQL, MVC, JBuilder StarTeam. *Front end was an activeX web browser control developed around the Microsoft Web Browser control. The back end application, which produced the user interface, was developed in Apple WebObjects. Application runs on Weblogic 8.1 server, in a clustered environment. Its developed using J2EE technologies and struts framework*. This is a migration project from a WebObjects based application to a J2EE based .
