*Position*: Java/Weblogic *Location*: NYC *Duration*: 1 Year + *F2F interview required* *Financial experience: strongly preferred.* * * * * Re-engineer EES, an infrastructure component of POITNT Pricing System, leveraging the firm's strategic architecture, to improve the application’s stability, scalability and reduce EES maintenance *Main Duties* : Rewrite EES Curve Provider Service in Java to optimize EES internal curve construction flow, develop curve conversion library to translate Market Data and Curve XML documents. Upgrade Weblogic from 8.1 to 10.3 and migrate the build process to RPM based HPSA. Work with in-house system administrators and support team to configure hosts and deploy applications. Person Requirements 3+ years IT experience - 3+ years of Java development - 3+ years of Unix Experience Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Experience in core Java application development and object-oriented design Experience with WebLogic Application server versions 8.1, 9.2, 10.X. Knowledge of WLST is a plus Linux experience including: shell scripting, server tuning and RPM installation/packaging.
