Thanks for applying this Ben, much appreciated. On a slightly related note, there's a patch for the 2.8 branch to make it use DPDK 17.05.2 (latest stable release for 17.05), the same patch has been placed on Darrells intermediate branch for master but this patch is specific to 2.8.
