Clearly not me. But you are right. A new release is needed. That's one of the
advantages of the bootable disk.

I'm now working on support for a new adapter: DS9123O, USB based PIC adapter
from Dallas with 1-wire, 2-wire, 3-wire and SPI support.

Apparently open design, though that's not entirely clear. Some information in
http://owfs.sf.net/adapters.html

Ahh.. Now I understand... It's the problem I had before... On some
mirrors owfs-2.1p0RC.tar.gz is incomplete or missing lots of files!
That's when I added the --disable-swig parameter to ./configure
to figure out what was wrong.

We really have to build a new version... and then build a default
configure script too (I guess it shouldn't be built on the very latest
installed distribution such as Fedore Core 4). In that case the
generated files won't be useful on older systems like Fedora Core 1
etc...

I think we should remove ./configure from bootstrap when we include
the automake files into the tar-files.

I'm not sure how it should be packed to follow all standards, but
this method seem to work pretty good I think.

cvs co owfs
cd owfs
./bootstrap
./configure
make
make clean
rm -rf autom4te.cache/
find . -name CVS -type d | xargs rm -rf
cd ..
tar -czf owfs-new.tar.gz owfs

Are there any expert on packaging new releases? :)

/Christian
