Another big step forward, maybe. This version passed all the way
thru make install. The following error occurs when executing a
command: ./owhttpd -V or ./owserver -V
dyld: Symbol not found: _kCFRunLoopDefaultMode
Referenced from: /usr/local/lib/libusb-0.1.4.dylib

The shell scripts, that build with libusb-0.1.10a do find a DS2490
chip on the usb bus. So I think the lib works OK.
This failure with libusb and MacOSX only has one hit in a Google
search. The thread talks about a possible fix.

I just removed the timezone completely from the gettimeofday() calls
since it shouldn't be needed anyway. It should work for you if you
try the latest cvs again...
