The fact that x.BYTE and X.ALL behave differently in DS2408 suggest a more
general problem. I think that has been fixed in newer OWFS versions (I've
tested extensively with the DS2406) but I'm not certain. Can you test the
newest version (Perhaps on a desktop machine since the slug code probably
trails a bit).
