I'm working with a company that's designing some 1-Wire hardware, and
we're looking at options for a 1-Wire hub.
I see that most hub devices used the DS2409, but the Dallas site
seems to imply that it's going away (Not Recommended For New
Design). I don't see any other devices that could be used to build a
hub though.
We're currently using a DS2480B to drive a single 1-Wire bus. I'm
thinking that we could use a mux to select 1 of 8 busses to interface
to, but I'm curious to find out about what other companies are doing
to support lots of devices.
