Hi, I'm currently looking for a way to recognize any changes of devices occuring on the 1wire-bus. Should mean, if any device is being added or removed from the bus, I want to react on this event immediately without polling the whole bus every X seconds.
So my questions is: Is there any event or variable generated by owserver (or the busmaster itself?) as soon as it recognises any added/removed device (if it recognises the change all)? Thanks in advance, Alexander Winkler PS: I already tried (without success) using FAM (File alteration monitor) in conjunction with owfs connected to owserver in order to monitor any changes made on the fuse-mounted 1wire-filesystem. I'm not really into this stuff but it seems the fuse bypasses the regular syscalls/signals/whatever so that no change on the fuse-filesystem is being recognized. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Owfs-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/owfs-developers
