Hi,
I work in a physics lab, and I needed a way to streamline a bunch of 1-wire
devices into our DAQ software, when I came across OWFS. What a brilliant
abstraction!
Well anyways one of the more important devices we wanted to interface was
the T8A (EDS's 12-bit 8ch. voltage sensor); however, OWFS (as it stands)
only recognizes the T8A as the DS2406 that acts as the 1-wire interface to
the mux/adc.
Well, the bottom line is that I've written some code to support the T8A in
owfs. I'd like to hand it off you y'all at OWFS, if you're interested.
However, I'm not very experienced with submitting code to collaborative
open-source projects... so maybe somone could talk to me offline (
[EMAIL PROTECTED]) to help me properly stitch this code into owfs. The
mod is only ~40 lines.
