Hello Chase,

We're always happy to get contributions. Typically people that have a
one-time contribution submit a patch.Those that want to continue
contributing, or have a larger subproject become developers.

Contributed code gets reworked a little to make it consistent with the
codestyle, naming scheme etc of the larger project.

If preparing a patch seems a little arcane, just submit your altered
ow_2406.c file.

I've looked at EDS's website, and the documentation on the T8A is silent on
implementation details. Since owfs is GPL, you have to ensure that your
code, and the source of your information, is consistent with that. For
instance, we got specific permission for inspecting the TAI8570 support
code. That said, EDS has been quite supportive of the owfs project in the
past.
