I also did some packaging, heavily based on Matthias Urlichs work but for some 
very special purpose and with (mainly for practical reasons) other opinions on 
names :)

Although being definitely no packaging-guru, I'd be willing to contribute what 
I can. 
But I guess a deb-maintainer is needed for that..
I'd really appreciate to get owfs "upstream" someday (I see Ubuntu and Debian 
equally in this case). 
This eases our lives and broadens usage for other pre-geeks ;-)
