Hi Paul.
Just started migrating to a new Linux box running SUSE 11.2 and got a
segmentation fault in owserver upon startup. Did some digging and it
appears to have something to do with Avahi. So I found a thread from
last year regarding a similar issue and tried to add --nozero option as
mentioned there, and it resolves the issue indeed.
But then you mentioned a bug in avahi that you reported. Do you know the
progress of this, am I running some old libraries in my system or is the
bug not yet corrected?

Then one more question (sorry for multiple items). It was not clear to
me which libusb version I should use, I finally got it working with the
compatibility layer version, so is 1.0 known not to work?
This is what I found in the FAQ:
(current version 0.18, though 0.17 is known to work)
But these version number does not match at all what you can download
today (1.0 or Legacy release 0.1.12 + compatibility version).

Finally I can say that it runs fine on my OpenSUSE 11.2 now, using DS9490R.

Regards
/Johan
