That's all I need really, I can now write trivial cron jobs to read the
temperatures and E-Mail them to me (or whatever).  The temperatures
*seem*  to be about right.

they are registering much the expected temperatures.

Are the contents of the various directories in the mounted file system
documented - well I'm sure they must be - I'll have a dig around on the
owfs web site but would appreciate some pointers.  I'll probably have to
do most of what I need by little scripts etc. as there's not much space
left on the little eeepc (though it is running apache2 OK!).
