Because all 1-wire counters are out of production. I'm trying to connect DS2408 input to 74HC590 (8 bit counter) to have very limited counting possibility.
Form DS2408 datasheet "When configured as STRB , an output strobe will occur after a PIO write (see Channel-Access Write command) or after a PIO Read (see Channel- Access Read command)" So I understand that if I do printf "1" > /mnt/owfs/29.XXXXX/strobe cat /mnt/owfs/29.XXXXXX/PIO.ALL The strobe pin should be, for a while, in conducting state?
