Paul: I applied a patch in order to avoid to modify the ABI between
--enable-owtraffic/--disable-owtraffic
This means that, with --disable-owtraffic, the 4 functions[1] are kept
(but empty) instead of being phased out with a macro. Do you think
that it is acceptable for you ? Or do are functions called very often
and empty functions can hurt performances ?
