Yes, I have 12V for eprom writing.
And I can write to a ds2406 so I think that part works.
And yes, I have a bus master, can't recall the name now but it is the same as 
in the serial and USB devices that is quite common.

to the eprom in a ds2406. I cannot find any reference to the eprom status bytes

(just modifying ow_2502.c so it looks more like ow_2505.c with reading/writing
