Hi Mikko,

1. Yes, parasite mode works fine (it's the only way I test).
2. The DS9490R is fully supported.
3. Ubuntu is the development platform.
4. I just tested a DS18S20 and can read the temperature as 19.625C
   -- but this was built from source

Finally I created a virtual machine and installed Ubuntu 12.04 and added
the owfs package from the repository
Ran:
sudo owhttpd -u -p 2121

And could see the temperature in my browser.

So I'm at a bit of a loss, but the software and setup should work in theory.

You said that you can see the correct 1-wire devices listed in the
directory, and the only problem is the temperature reading itself?
