Interesting. The picture does show four twisted pairs. As I understand 
it, it is very important that the pairs are twisted. Otherwise there 
will be EMI issues.

Perhaps what you have is the product of a manufacturing problem? I would 
contact the manufacturer and ask why the pairs are not twisted, when 
they should be.
