Hi,
I've recently developed a replacement for the obsolete DS2409 MicroLan
Coupler using an AVR and digital switches (I'll post my code online with
reference eagle design soon). It includes the smart on features of the
original ds2409.
For my purposes I however need at least a 6 port switch, but possibly up to
12 port, which formerly used multiple ds2409 chips, but using the new
design that would need to many avr's. So I was thinking about creating a 6
(or 12 port) design, with 1 main and 5 aux channels that only extends the
behaviour of the ds2409.
For integration into owfs I would however need to choose a free-ish family
code. What would be the way to go here?
Best regards,
Marc Dirix
