The I²C on the board pins is 3.3V, too, so you need a voltage adaptor
chip for that one, too.

But the I²C on the HDMI port is 5V, you can connect the DS2482-800
there. You need a HDMI cable and a kernel patch for unlocking that I²C bus.

If you don't wanna lose the HDMI port, you may want to solder it to the
back side of the connector.
