Version 3.1 will detect the device and allow you to read values out of it, but those values stick forever at whatever they were when you first connected the barometer. The issue has been discussed on this list recently and there are multiple reports of the problem. Eric Vickery at hobby boards is aware, but it doesn't seem very high up his list of priorities.
