Ah, I see it. Okay, that's a valid reason you want to use the kernel
driver because bitbanging doesn't work too well in userland (needs
realtime scheduling etc.).

However, I also see the source of all your problems in the kernel driver
then. I could help you wioth this, too, but that again raises my slighty
changed question:

*have you ever had it working with the w1 bitbanging driver on the
raspberry* ?

I use the DS2482-800 bus master in my Raspi-based devices, have designed
an extension board for it.
