Ok, good. Your XPL looks just fine to me. Just one note: in the 
XUpdate program, you have a debug attribute on the <xu:variable>. This 
attribute has no effect. ("debug" attributes are only used in XPL.) I 
guess we could add an <xu:message> to XUpdate, so you can easily debug 
what is going on when your XUpdate program runs. The <xu:message> 
would work just like the <xsl:message>. I will add this on the todo 
list for the next version :-).
