I (an undergraduate student) and several people from the University of Oxford
are looking into restarting a free, libre and open source software interest
group, with events hopefully restarting in January. Hopefully people from all
around Oxfordshire will be welcome to much of it. I'm looking to include all
kinds of people. If you're at all interested please sign up to the mailing list
at https://web.maillist.ox.ac.uk/ox/subscribe/foss and (not necessary, but
recommended) submit the form at https://my.liberaforms.org/floss-oxon. You're
welcome to send your ideas to the mailing list, the form or me.
(Free, libre and open source software is software licensed for public freedom
as explained in https://fsfe.org/freesoftware/index.en.html, and Linux and the
current BSDs are examples.)
