I've ordered the new Kindle. Main reasons were: - Dedicated e-book reader (so beats iPad in terms of text quality/readability) - Ability to add notes - FREE 3G worldwide (where there is coverage) - 3+ weeks battery life - Can read pdfs and chm files (after conversion) - Nice price - Everyone I know who has one loves it
All that being said, mine hasn't arrived yet, so I can't comment from personal experience, but if it lives up to the expectations I'll be pretty happy.
