Here is another idea. Instead of focusing on "argument styles", "how to troll correctly", etc. How about we just stop attacking people on this mailing list and just talk tech.
I talk to a lot of people offline about this mailing list and what keeps most people away from it. The same name continuously pops up as being the main reason for unsubscribing. This mailing list gets very hostile a lot of the time and I am sick of it. A lot of ideas are just jumped on and the person posting gets called stupid or discouraged from replying again.
