Who trolls? Who attacks people? Who gets hostile? Who jumps on ideas? Who calls people "stupid"? Someone who behaves like that must be socially retarded. Although it is entertaining to watch these people ruin their reputations in front of hundreds of influential people worldwide.

Greg -------- [cut] Instead of focusing on "argument styles", "how to troll correctly", etc. How about we just stop attacking people on this mailing list and just talk tech. This mailing list gets very hostile a lot of the time and I am sick of it. A lot of ideas are just jumped on and the person posting gets called stupid or discouraged from replying again. It isn't "sparking interesting debate" or "being controversial", it is just causing a hostile environment.
