I'm surprised at how negative the reaction to IE9 has been on here! As an end-user I'm not too hyped about it. I use Chrome at the moment.
As a developer though, it's great to see another mainstream browser out there that has support for some of the newer web standards. The combination of ASP.NET MVC + jQuery + HTML5 is looking pretty compelling to me at the moment - other than the fact none of our customers are using browsers that support any the good stuff in HTML5 :( It might take years before we have widespread adoption, but having a few million people pull down IE9 over windows update is a good start. ________________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] On Behalf Of mike smith [[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, 16 March 2011 12:09 PM To: ozDotNet Subject: Re: IE9 RTW On Wed, Mar 16, 2011 at 11:26 AM, David Burela <[email protected]> wrote: > Talking of which, I loved this quote from @DontSailBackwards > Chrome has a bug, missing a feature - wait a week or get a plugin.
