I'm surprised at how negative the reaction to IE9 has been on here!

As an end-user I'm not too hyped about it. I use Chrome at the moment.

As a developer though, it's great to see another mainstream browser out there
that has support for some of the newer web standards.

The combination of ASP.NET MVC + jQuery + HTML5 is looking pretty compelling to
me at the moment - other than the fact none of our customers are using browsers
that support any the good stuff in HTML5 :(

It might take years before we have widespread adoption, but having a few
million people pull down IE9 over windows update is a good start.

For me, it's more "what am I using? Chrome. Is it broken? No. Does
IE9 offer significant value that it's worth shifting? No"
