I think it is just a bunch of environment issues with your machine. Over the last 4 months I have wiped and reinstalled the entire stack 7 times now (I wipe before starting each chapter of my book to ensure nothing strange creeps in).
A clean install of windows and then Visual Studio 2010 Run the web platform installer, click VS2010 SP1, Azure tools, silverlight tools, sql express, etc. Walk away for 15 minutes and it is all configured correctly. If you do continue to have issues with your system, I would really recommend just starting with a fresh install. -David Burela On 6 April 2011 16:25, Grant Maw <[email protected]> wrote: > All > > Just been through a bit of pain trying to install the Azure tools for > VS2010 on a Windows 7 box.
