Folks, a colleague of mine is having trouble isolating FTP users to their
home folders. Many weeks ago I flippantly advised him that it was probably
easy, by just setting some options in IIS Manager and setting a working
directory in their account. He said that the technique of sending each user
to a home folder when they FTP login is working nicely, but they can go "cd
.." (or equivalent) and navigate up to the FTP root and then see other
folders. He's set the permissions so the users can't access the contents of
other folders, but he wants to truly "isolate" each user into their own home
so they don't even see or know that others exist.

Rather than bumble around for hours on this, I thought I'd ask OT if anyone
clearly knows the trick for isolating FTP users in their own folders. I've
been web searching on this, but I keep getting the same instructions over
and over which allow users to go up a folder and see the structure.

Cheers,

Greg
