Fixed - On checking a few things that were obvious to me: the TextBox does have its ShortcutsEnabled property true; it is not an MDI form (all good); but I did have a remnant (somehow hidden), menu on this form with Edit sub-menus copy cut paste (ctrl-c, ctrl-x, ctrl-v). Deleting this menu restored the functionality that I was sure was built in.

I have a very prosaic problem, in Windows Forms, where cut and paste in a TextBox is not happening as I always remember it "just working". I want Ctrl-C, -X, -V to work as Windows standard. Have I mis-set a property somewhere that affected this? (right-click and choose Copy or Paste is OK). I can write some code to override the Control.ProcessCmdKey method but I shouldn't have to do this. _____ Ian Thomas Victoria Park, Western Australia
