Probably doubtful, as they have no contract with the end-party.

Cheers

Subject: Help I'm being threatened.

Hi

While building a website for a client recently I tried using elance to
subcontract some work to a Indian company. The project was a disaster and they
just didn't deliver, I knew the quality of work would be love but I didn't
understand how much I would have to spoon feed them.

Half way through the project they just kept stuffing up so badly I pulled the
pin on them and I got a full refund from elance. So I fully followed elance
rules and they didn't meet the requirement I set for the project. The refund
was approved.

So now they can contact the domain owner and they have told the domain owner...
"we were having a discussion in consumer's forum court in your country, that
you have cheated us and made all the work done from us and it was pre planned
programme of you to make no payment and we are appealing for complete closure
of this website. "

Is this true?
Can they do this?

Thanks in Advance

Michael
