Yeah, originally I thought the same too, filling a gap, but it I believe
with my amateur time with doing WP7 development, this is mainly the
canonical way of consuming data for WP7 apps, always makes me wonder why, as
it seems heavy over 3G for phones transmitting this verbose bunch of XML
data.
