Well, I’m not releasing stuff under my name, but I am under the names of people 
I contract to. In theory they should all have certificates, and I’ve mentioned 
the matter in passing, but they don’t bother with such technical details that 
just mean more costs.

I played with self-certs many years ago and I recall they didn’t behave like 
real ones and were quite irritating. Maybe they’re better now and useful for 
simply “stamping” my name into apps, but there is no root certifier of course 
and would expect some weird message at runtime when I use them to make claims. 
If I find anything interesting I’ll let you know.
