Here's another thing that mostly works: I often use VS2012 to find and
replace in files anywhere because of the nice options and expressions. I
tried to run it over some web sites I manage in Expression Web 4 and it
kept telling me "No files were found to look in", which I knew was a lie.
After a tedious process of elimination I discovered that someone (Express
Web I'm guessing) puts the S (system) attribute on the web root folder
which produces the symptom. I only noticed because of the slightly
different folder icon in the folder picker -- Greg
